About

TacticSlate is built to make tactical communication easier.

The project started from a practical coaching problem: many tactical tools are quick to sketch in, but harder to explain from, especially when the same board needs to become a training walkthrough, a meeting visual, and an exportable asset. TacticSlate focuses on that gap.

What the editor is for

The editor is the working surface. It is where you place players and objects, draw runs and passing lanes, create animation frames, switch into 3D, and prepare exports. It is meant to stay focused on creation rather than acting as a content-heavy landing page.

What the public site is for

The public site explains how the tool works, shares template ideas, documents workflows, and gives first-time visitors enough context to understand the product without opening a blank board.

Design principles

  • Local-first editing so a coach can keep working without waiting on cloud setup.
  • Clear tactical visuals before decorative polish.
  • Public documentation and examples that show realistic use cases rather than empty product claims.
  • Separate routes for creation and content so the editor experience stays clean.
