Workspace Layout

Left Rail

The left rail changes the overall workspace.

  • 3D: edit a board on the 3D pitch.
  • 3D Animation: work through frames on the 3D pitch.
  • Select: standard 2D board editing.
  • Animate: 2D timeline editing and playback.

Top Bar

The top bar handles global actions for the current workspace.

  • Zoom controls are always available.
  • In 3D and 3D Animation, the view preset selector switches between Normal, Rotated, Front, Side, Top-H, and Top-V.
  • Draw toggles the drawing overlay.
  • Pan toggles board movement in 2D or camera handling in 3D.
  • Clear removes the current board objects, frame contents, or scene contents depending on mode.
  • Save opens the mode-specific JSON import/export modal.
  • Export opens the animation export flow when animation export is available.
  • Help opens this help center.

Right Panel

The right side changes with context.

  • Library is where you drag players and objects onto the board.
  • Properties edits the selected entity, or pitch settings when nothing is selected.
  • Animation appears in animation workflows and controls frame time, trails, and starting positions.

Practical Rule

Build the scene first, then draw on top of it, then animate only if timing is part of the lesson. The editor is easier to read when each stage stays focused.
